AISA carries out helicopter modernisation and upgrade programmes both on airframe and systems. Such modernisations involve either improvements to the existing systems or the design and installation of new ones, thus adding operational capability to the helicopters. |

AISA, jointly with the customer, examines the prospective modification or upgrade of a helicopter or a particular fleet. It then designs the necessary modifications, incorporates them, constructs prototypes, test flies the aircraft and certifies it in compliance with the aviation authority requirements. |
